Hello Everyone!

 

Prayer is an important activity in our live because we're actually talking to the sovereign God of the universe. He understands how we feel, knows what we think and has the power to intervene in every area of our life. Our quite time with God empowers us to face the challenges of each day when we talk with Him. Now that we face the COV-19 Pandemic it is important to we hold on to our faith and get closer to God during these challenging times. Let your faith be greater than your fear, stress or anxiety and keep trusting God!

1) Schedule Time at your convenience but attempt to be consistent so, it will become a regular part of your daily routine.

​

2) Believe That the Lord Hears Our Prayers. Psalm 66:18...“If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.” So, if we live a continues sinful life God will not hear our prayers. However, in Psalm 34:15...“The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry.” This scripture gives us assurance that the Lord hears us when we pray.

3) Pray For Others.  It is necessary for you to pray with and for your enemies, co-workers, friends and family. God is a prayer answering God, He is on time and can make a way out of no-way! Jeremiah 32:27..."I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" The answer is NO, there is nothing too hard for God!

4) Trust In God's Power. In Mark 11:23..."Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him." As our Heavenly Father, He's protecting, supporting and providing everything we need, simply obey Him.

5) Pray For Direction. God wants to guide us into His perfect plan that he has designed for each one of us to obtain.  If we’ll ask Him for direction, He may not show us the entire course, but He will provide the next step. To receive further instruction, we must be willing to obey whatever He has already revealed. As we keep walking with Him, the path will gradually unfold to us. Psalm 119:105..."Thy word is a Lamp unto my feet and a Light unto my Path."

 

6)  Pray With The Word. Effective prayer is anchored in the Word of God. As you read the bible to learn How-To-Pray effectively. Thus, we must include scripture when we pray, God honors His word. John 14:13-14..."Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father me be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name (Jesus) I will do it.

And in Matthew 21:22..."And all things you ask in prayer believing, you will receive."

7) Pray for Peace of Mind and Comfort. There has been so much sickness and death because of COVID-19. Decree and declaring healing in Isaiah 53:5..."But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquites, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed." Remember in 2 Timothy 1:7..."God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of Power, and of Love, and a Sound Mind. Let the Holy Spirit comfort your heart because, "I will never leave you or forsake you says the Lord" in Deuteronomy 31:6.

​

8)  Pray to Forgive others that mistreat you. We are to always forgive, in Ephesians 4:32..."Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ (Jesus) God forgave you."
